Daydream

Original Registration	Daydream was conceived and designed in the late 1980's. The build also started during this period. By 1993, when it (and George) moved to Maryland, the fuselage and landing gear were built and assembled and the engine and propeller were installed. George took the barebones fuselage for a ride on the quiet street near his home. A neighbor made a video of that excursion, during which the local police showed up and couldn't figure out what to do about a fledgling airplane driving on a local road. That video has not yet been transcribed from VHS format. There are also several hundred photos taken during this time, which have not yet been scanned.
